The choices this title describes
Using a rope or a tool, testing a small operation and handling a connection are grouped under Dexterity. Choosing these actions does not measure manual precision or demonstrate a technical qualification.
How a game choice connects to the trait
A choice from the adventure
The blueprints will be deleted in five minutes. Rei begins explaining how to retrieve them. How do you proceed?
「Listen and start working straight away」
Dexterity +3, Strength +1
Following the procedure adds Dexterity; getting hands-on adds Strength. No real manual precision is measured.
Situations to reflect on
Even after a direction is agreed, someone needs to make the details work. Finding a missing step, improving a prototype or making a repeated task easier are examples. Recall whose work became easier because of a small adjustment you made.
Potential difficulties to consider
Attention to detail can obscure whether the detail matters to the original goal. Write one sentence describing who needs to be able to do what before the task is finished. Try changes separately so you can explain which adjustment helped.
Exploring work with AI
An AI-generated procedure or configuration may fail with a real tool. Isolating the failure and making the steps reproducible is one area to explore. A fictional tool choice is not a substitute for a repair or electrical qualification.
Something to try next
Pick one awkward operation in a spreadsheet or app you use. Record the problem, make one small change and ask another person to try it. Reflect on whether you enjoyed making it function or making it easier to use.
Read alongside your other traits
With Creativity, this can mean finding another use for a tool. With Planning, it can mean making a repeatable procedure. Consider digital tools as well as physical work.
These interpretations help you reflect on fictional choices. They do not establish your real personality, abilities or career fit. The practical situations are prompts to compare with your own experience.
