The choices this title describes
Checking the order of work, locating an emergency stop and keeping a record for later are grouped under Planning. This does not establish an ability to predict the future accurately.
How a game choice connects to the trait
A choice from the adventure
The blueprints will be deleted in five minutes. Rei begins explaining how to retrieve them. How do you proceed?
「Check the order of all the steps before starting」
Planning +3, Intellect +1
Checking the sequence adds Planning; understanding the procedure adds Intellect. The cautious option is not presented as universally correct.
Situations to reflect on
When tasks depend on one another, one delay can spread. Preparing materials, choosing checkpoints and planning how to recover from failure are examples. Reflect on the confusion you prevented, not the detail of the schedule alone.
Potential difficulties to consider
An elaborate plan can become expensive to revise when assumptions change. Start with the next action, a checkpoint and a stopping condition, then update them from what happens. Progress toward the purpose matters more than following a schedule unchanged.
Exploring work with AI
Faster automated tasks can still stall at a review or handover. Preparing inputs, checking intermediate results and providing a recovery path are activities to explore. An AI-generated plan must still fit the people and conditions involved.
Something to try next
Describe a familiar task in no more than five steps. Add one check at the step most likely to go wrong and try the procedure. Remove an unnecessary step afterward to explore the work of making a plan usable.
Read alongside your other traits
With Strength, this can mean testing a procedure in practice. With Creativity, it can mean planning alternatives. The title does not imply you only enjoy routine work.
These interpretations help you reflect on fictional choices. They do not establish your real personality, abilities or career fit. The practical situations are prompts to compare with your own experience.
